Plastic housings protect the internal components of the adsorber and offer a cost-effective solution for standard operating environments. Made from Polyamide (PA6) and Polycarbonate PC, the disposable plastic housing is durable and UV-resistant.

The metal housing protects the internal components of the adsorber and provides enhanced mechanical robustness for demanding operating conditions. Made from metal, it is designed for applications involving impact, vibration or challenging environmental conditions. Available in stainless steel or aluminium, metallic adsorbers are suitable for applications in ATEX zones. They are always refillable, allowing the housing to be reused when the desiccant is replaced.
Keeping the air dry – and indicating when replacement is needed
GIEBEL Xdry® combines silica gel orange-green and molecular sieve 13X for effective moisture removal, even at low humidity levels and high temperatures. By keeping incoming air dry, it helps protect the system from moisture damage. The color change from orange to green indicates when the desiccant needs to be replaced.
The housing protects the internal components of the adsorber and provides the structural protection needed for reliable operation. Depending on the application and operating conditions, GIEBEL adsorbers are available with plastic or metal housings.
Valves reduce unnecessary adsorber loading during operation breaks, particularly in systems with extended shutdown periods.
The filter removes fine dust and dirt particles from incoming air, protecting the system from contamination.
