GIEBEL Finder — Product Release
March 1, 2026 By Justin Nelson Atlanta, GA

A path to the right GIEBEL Adsorber®

Built to make specification extraordinarily precise, Finder is a new way to calculate the right adsorber for your machine.

Feature 01

Guided parameter flow.

Answer a few questions about your machine — oil capacity, headspace, and operating conditions — and Finder does the rest. In five steps, you get a direct adsorber recommendation built specifically for your application.

Feature 02

Inspect the details.

See pressure ratio curves, available size options, adapter connection types, and dimensional clearance data — all formatted precisely for your application context.

Feature 03

Intelligent Assistant Mode.

Need dynamic troubleshooting or strategic planning? Chat Mode provides a deep-reasoning agent capable of synthesizing robust system designs, reviewing past sizing states, and exporting complex reports instantly.

Feature 04

Know the difference.

Understanding the difference between Basic, Eco, and Premium configurations is now immediate. View direct feature comparisons formatted specifically for your operating context.

Editor's Note

How do we simplify this for everyone?

Getting sales teams, engineers, and distributors aligned on when to apply a desiccant breather — and which one — can slow down projects and create gaps in the specification process. The questions that follow require a whole separate level of technical understanding.

We've spent years building that knowledge. With Finder, we're making it accessible. Guided Mode compresses a complex recommendation into five deliberate steps. The Chat Interface gives engineers, dealers, and end-users deeply informed answers from a single prompt.

Finder is built to serve the entire chain — manufacturers, sales teams, distributors, and end-users. Our intelligence, for the whole industry.

Technical FAQ

What is the difference between the 3 Chat Models?

Finder utilizes three distinct, specialized AI models. Engineer is optimized for finding and recommending your adsorber when you have specific custom applications or dimensions that aren't covered in Guided Mode. Explorer is for general questions (e.g., why is my adsorber turning orange, or asking it what the equivalent of a Vario is to our new modern adsorbers). Axis is an internal mode used for deep research, projections, specialized questions, and strategic planning.

How does the Guided Mode calculate the right adsorber?

The Guided Mode uses a deterministic constraint engine. It takes your physical machine inputs—such as headspace volume, oil capacity, and operating temperature—and calculates the precise airflow and moisture capacity needed, filtering the catalog to only show mechanically compatible units.

When should I use Guided Flow vs. Chat Mode?

Guided Flow is a step-by-step, calculator-driven constraint engine ideal when you have specific parameter inputs and need a direct, deterministic hardware recommendation. Chat Mode is designed for open-ended exploration, troubleshooting edge cases, querying internal documentation, and designing custom setups without strict numerical bounds.

Can I save and share my calculation results?

Yes. Every configured system, chat session, and tier comparison generates a unique state that can be instantly captured. You can export detailed PDF technical reports or share direct links with your engineering team to review the exact specifications and reasoning that led to a specific adsorber recommendation.
